Guest guest
The great thing about this diet is that you can substitute anything on the good list. And you NEVER have to eat anything that will make you puke! This is a really flexible plan. I hate fish, too & I'm doing fine without it. You also don't have to follow the meal plans verbatim. Some people buy books and want to know exactly what to do. I think the meal plans were put in there fore people that want a rigid how-to plan. I would guess most people use it as a guideline. Whatever works best for you. If you feel good and are losing inches and/or pounds, you are doing it right! Welcome to the group & hopefully you will be a loser soon! This is one of the few places in the world where it is great to be a loser! > So can I just substitute fish items for any of the other ok meat > items? > > If not, I'm ready to be brave and just do it-- I think. -gulp-

Guest guest
Becca-- No, you don't HAVE to eat fish. No, you don't HAVE to follow the menu. Simply pick the foods that are OK on the list. You'll do just fine. You only HAVE to eat your 4 1/2 cups of veggies and drink your water every day. During Phase I, you HAVE to have your snacks. Have confidence in yourself, you'll do OK. Plus you have all of us here to give you support. Carol > Hi, I'm new to this group. My doctor ordered me to go on this diet > yesterday, so I dutifully went out and bought the book.
