Guest guest
lifescan meters do not have this problem. That is where they are a step ahead of the others including acucheck. www.lifescan.com I can literally take my sugar while my meter is on the counter top above the dish washer while it is on dry mode. The counter is hot to the touch and the meter is not effected by it at all. Guest guest
I wonder, . My diabetic educator said the One Touch is temperature sensitive-it just doesn't tell you and she said the glucose level you get when the machine is too hot or too cold can be inaccurate. Guest guest
I tested it on the other counter (room temp) afterwards and got near the same reading. I use a profile so not certain if all lifescan meters are that reliabel or not but the profile certainly is.
