Guest guest
Lori: My son has only done two rounds of the 8 hr protocol. He too has had AIT in the past, and I have written to his practitioner. Just yesterday, at the Opening Day Ceremonies for Little League, he was covering his ears. I think we will repeat AIT AFTER he completes his chelation, because I have heard how the process affects their auditory sensitivities. AIT worked wonders for him...but then, after the boosters and horrific regression from them, all his progress was reversed. Good Luck. Guest guest
My son's sound sensitivity increase with chelation but not to the point I thought he was in pain. It seamed to resolve itself very quickly. He is still sensitive but no more than he was prior to starting chelation. Holly
Guest guest
Sorry Lori I don't have an answer for you but my daughter is experiencing the same thing with sound. She cries all the time in school now and didn't before chelation. Actually the new enzymes are helping with this. But my husband believes she is more " awake " now and isn't in a fog which I guess can be scary coming out. Just a thought, Jean
Guest guest
Hi Have you looked at The Listening Programme see www.adavncedbrain.com. You buy the kit and do at home, repeat as many times as you like. Very good value Mandi in UK

I'm thinking of trying it. > Sorry Lori I don't have an answer for you but my daughter is experiencing the > same thing with sound. She cries all the time in school now and didn't > before chelation. Guest guest
I am concerned about doing AIT because of all the things you can't do after AIT treatments. I would like to do something that has a lasting effect. Anyone knows if there is such a program? I'd be quite disappointed if I spend thousands of dollars to find that all was undone after using earphones to listen to music which my son loves to to. Thanks. Guest guest
i often think ait is just listening to autistic composers mahler, beethoven debussy chopin particlularly chopin and his practice preludes these guys were just working out thier own integration i think unintegrating there is an arguemnt that its best approached slowly and in a more natural manner than a specific therapy, there are some disitnctly unfriendly reports of the process by some autistic adults who have been through it. > > Lori: > > My son has only done two rounds of the 8 hr > > protocol. Guest guest
I know how you feel AIT for me was going out of town and staying in a motel, no to mention ATI is over priced! After chealtion seened to reverse it I bought a disc for home from www.visionaudio.com and my older son said it sounds just like the ATI did. I use it between chelation on the off days once a day and his ability to stand sounds has returned. Look into home units and such do a web search much is out there, that is how I found this.
