Gluten ingestion?

Can someone tell me how long after ingesting gluten, will someone be

sick? My 2 year old has been GF for 8 months, doing well. She all

of a sudden woke vomiting last night. I cannot imagine what she

ate, as she only eats at home. Maybe it was a stomach flu, but she

did not have a temperature and now I am re-checking all our food,

etc. This is still new to me so any help would be great.
