It's in a friggin' mansion! Beautiful. Mahvelous. They told me that the upstairs is kushy couches and lawyers & doctors, and the basement is winos and bikers. I still think we ought to look into getting a research grant for this AA observation thing we are doing. It might make putting ourselves in harm's way to study this nasty culture at little easier. I look forward to seeing you on your return. We have some fine specimens of much of what you and other observant ex-twelve-steppers have written about on this site. It should be especially entertaining as Bekah and I know some of these folks, and can possibly provide background material. Also, if we have time (I have to teach a Web Page making unit next week, Oh no!) I will give you the walking tour (the Lawrence depression walk) of downtown Portland.
