Guest guest
Thank you for sharing Ken. I'm so sorry this happened. S. Shabnam and my new patient. >From: mitodad@... > >Got a note from Janice West yesterday informing me that my patient goes down to Atlanta mid-June. From then we'll just have to wait. In the same note, Janice informed me that Shabnam passed away within days of getting back home. Just to remind you, she was the child from Pakistan. When she got here in April, she had been in the beginning stages of the evaluation when she developed fever and ultimately admitted to the ICU. Everything had to be cancelled, and arrangemnts were made to fly her home with oxygen and other equip. > >Sorry for the down tone of this note, but just figured that some may be interested. > >Ken > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------ >With more than 14 million emails exchanged daily... >http://www.onelist.com >...ONElist IS the place where the world talks! >------------------------------------------------------------------------ >Brought to you by www.imdn.org - an on-line support group for those affected by mitochondrial disease. >

Ken >> dearest Ken: In a recent note I said " when one of us wins- all of us win. " I would like to add to this that when one of us looses- we all loose! I join you in greaving our loss of this special person, Shabnam. I also send sympathy to her family. Hang in there, Ken. You are a special person, and this kind of loss has to take a lot out of you- not to mention what you are going through personally! So sorry...
