Guest guest
I just finished up the last of my home shows until January. It seems so strange to think I can work on our new house and projects that I have been putting off because my holiday season has been so busy (by the way, if you need some bath and body Christmas gifts.. www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/mindy guaranteed xmas delivery until Sat.) Ok that was a plug. But seriously I just don't know how to prioritize anymore. I have a zillion things to do but they seem so jumbled or I start them with no planning. I try to make a nightly to do list for the next day. This works great when I can remember where I put the darn thing or if I remember to bring my list with me throughout the day. How do you prioritize? Or better yet how do you maintain your focus when you know your focus is quirky? I'm trying to avoid what I did last week. I went to the new house and started painting in the master bedroom. Somehow put my brush down when I answered the phone and when I got off the phone, I was painting in the hallway. Thank goodness they are the same color..sighh... Mindy
Guest guest
I have a running "to do" list, as well as a "shopping list" minimized on my computer all the time. It does help. I print out the "to do" list so I'll have a paper one to go by when needed. I also keep a little notebook in my purse to jot down those fleeting thoughts about what I need to do or buy. At least that's the way it is for me--the thought jumps into my head and then flies right on out before I can 'grab' it sometimes. Does that make any sense at all?????Sharon I was trying to daydream, but my mind kept wandering. Prioritizing everyday life I just finished up the last of my home shows until January. Guest guest
Oh yes. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to market with the list fully in my head only to have it totally vaporize the second I walk into the store...yesterday I forgot MILK!!! --- Sharon Marsden wrote: > I have a running " to do " list, as well as a > " shopping list " minimized on my computer all the > time.
