your basic meningioma is a tumor on the surface of your brain, its internal.

grow on your meningi (sp?) nerves and can also get them in your spinal cord. as

for the red bumps, i hesitate to even bring " this " subject up again, i thought

the skin lesions were nf 1, and then everyone says you cant have nf1 and nf2,

yet

many of us have skin tumors. now i DO NOT have skin tumors per se, but since i

was 16 ive had tiny red bumps (pin head size) on my legs, what is neast is the

appear to go away at times. when im in the sun they are not noticeable, when its

cold they are. weird.

NF2ers can have bump too, usually just a few and this does not have

anything to do with NF1. I have about 5 and they happened after I had a

knock in that place. I worked in the building industry as a building foreman

on all types of buildings and knocks where an every day occurrence. the only

ones that I got where the severest ones. Other NF2ers will have the odd one

just appear for no reason at all.
