Guest guest
I know what you mean! And before - I'd do the laundry and run hide it - put it away quick because it looked so huge! Now, (whispered) there are a few dresses that are clingy like and when not on me the look so tiny - I leave them right on top the basket! LOL Love those boobs now - before long they may dissapear :-( I kept mine for the longest time, then all of the sudden they disapeared! From a DD to a B :-( Freaks me out! Ang > >>>>>>> Sure. Guest guest
Ang, Oh I wish they would go away! Here I have lost 85 lbs and only gone down 2 bra sizes. I was wearing a 46 DD at my heaviest but should have been in a 48 DD. The 46's were skin tight but I just couldn't get myself to buy the 48's! Even when I was thin they were huge! It took losing over 40 lbs before the 46's were too big. Now I am right in between 42 and 44. About 10-15 more lbs and the 44's will be too big, I hope. I have lost all the way around though. I can't believe how much smoother my back looks and I can see my collar bone again, hey! I have a neck now too, lol! But the boobs, nope they aren't budging. I would love to have a lift and tummy tuck after I lose about 30 more but don't have the $$$$$. Oh well. Gena > I know what you mean! Guest guest
LOL. I even found ribs! LOL. And you know what? This is so cool, but at the same time so yuck. If I hold my arm or leg up, the fat that is left kind of sags down and I can see the REAL arm or leg as it should be. I don't know if that's good or bad - but it's something that wasn't happening before. ....Here's something I'd like to ask about. I haven't seen, read, or heard anyone talk about it before - but I have noticed it and wondered if it was just me, or everyone but no one talks about it. It concerns bowl movements. When I am loosing weight pretty fast, like a good solid pound or more a week - my stools are more frequent and looser. But when my wieght is stable or going up, I get more firm and less often. Anyone esle notice anything like this? > >>>>>>>>> Sure. And no problem at all with the questions. Guest guest
Ang, You found ribs???!!!? I'm still looking for my hip bones! Well if I lay on my side kind of and feel I can kind of find one a little bit. LOL I actually had somebody tell me my arms looked small! I lifted them up and grabbed my flap and said oh no they aren't! Oh age and gravity can be soo mean sometimes. Oh, the B M thing....... well I find just the opposite actually. Maybe they are loser when you are losing because you are being more active, drinking more water and getting more veggies. Exercise and drinking plenty of water are, how should I say this, good for that. :-) Gena > LOL. I even found ribs! LOL. > And you know what? Well if I lay > on my side kind of and feel I can kind of find one a little bit. LOL. I can't wait to see what else I discover under this :-) My husband, who apparenty doesn't think we need more closet space - said that after babies my hips will never be that small again. Also, the other night he said (as I was getting ready to eat a muffin) - that I should ace wrap my whole body - up to my boobs, that maybe they will get fat instead of the rest of me. Grrrhh.. And he didn't expect me to take either of those things 'wrong'. MEN! All I know is that I better look REALY good under this fat after the blast I gave him :-)
Guest guest
Ang, Ooooohhhhhhh he is got nerve! Does he look like he did when you married? I bet not! Make him pay girl! I swear Mike is either very blind or very smart. He tells me all the time that I have always looked good to him. He never thought I looked bad, even at 284! It never slowed him down, if ya know what I mean " wink " . I used to make him feel bad when he would touch me and I'd cry. He always wants the lights on and I always turn them off, lol. One thing I am told anyway, my hips never spread. I had to have c-sections because the girls were both big. Niki 9lb 14 oz and Cassie 9 lb 6 oz and the doc said my pelvic never spread and was too small even for a small baby. One doc said I have a Cadillac body and sport car frame. Cute eh? LOL Sooo, supposedly, if I ever do lose all the weight, I am the same there. But then there is the roll of lose skin...... ya get the pic. I have just accepted that, that will never go away. Well unless I win the lottery or something and can have a tummy tuck, yeah right. Just have to do the best I can and be glad I'm not 284 anymore, right? (He just lost 225 pounds in a year - the man can all but walk on water). > One thing I am told anyway, my hips never spread. I had to have > c-sections because the girls were both big. Guest guest
Ang, Excuse me? Is that a typo? Did you say he LOST 225 pounds in a year?! Dang that is soo freaking fast! I hope the man takes vities! Men can get osteoperosis too. How did he do it? Mike looks as good or better then when we married. He got a hankering to try something new this last year and got an ear pierced and then went blond! It was fun. He looks soooo cute! He was diagnosed with crohns 2 years ago and lost about 25 lbs form being sick with that in 5 weeks time. Not a way you want to lose weight but the weight he is at now looks good. He is 5'9 " and about 170-175. Yes, the girls were big but no, didn't stay big. Well Niki is taller than me but that isn't saying much, lol. I'm 5'3, she's 5'6 but skinny! Cassie, the poor thing seems to be taking after mom. I think she is going to be short. she is 12 and has bigger boobs than her 18 yr old sister and is only 5'1 " . At 12 Niki was already as tall as me. Gena > >> Ooooohhhhhhh he is got nerve! Does he look like he did when you >> married? > > ....actualy - he's so terible, he looks even better! Not fair at > all. Did you say he LOST 225 pounds in a year?! > Dang that is soo freaking fast! .....No typo. 225 in 1 year. I have to say - he worked his butt off for it - I meen got up early, stayed up late, did nothing but move and work hard till time to drop into bed. Every moring he ate 1 fruit/cerial bar. For lunch, 2 peices of white bread with 3 slices of that super thin fat free low cal turkey and hot suase. Dinner - same thing as lunch. Every great now and again when I was all but in tears and begging because I was so afraid for his health, he's eat a tiny bit of fruit (maybe 1/2 an apple). Guest guest
Ang, My goodness! Did he ever see a doctor? I would have been worried to. That is way too much too fast! I mean it's great that he lost it but at what cost and will he keep it off? You can't eat like that forever. It will start to effect his health. I don't mean to be an alarmist but hearing stuff like that concerns me. I know how those men can be though. They don't listen very well sometimes. Gotta love em! LOL Gena >> Ang, >> Excuse me? Guest guest
> Ang, > My goodness! Did he ever see a doctor? I would have been worried to. ......Ya, I insisted he go every month. I realy worried when he started loosing his hair. (I'm loosing my hair too - I don't know why). I thought he was because he wasn't eating enough carbs and protiens, vitamins ect. But I am taking supliments for certain vitamins and eating plenty and I am now, and I am NOT loosing at all right now. I'm back up to 174 and not worrying about loosing as much as trying to figure out what's going on with the little hair I have falling out. Anyone else have this problem although they eat plenty? > will he keep it off? You can't eat like that forever. .....It's been 7 months now - and he's kept it off. He does wiegh almost every day and watches what he eats. I increased his calories back up very slowly. And he never has decreased his activity level. If he sees the scale go up a few pounds he just eats lite meals - no snacks.

Guest guest
Ang, Well that's good. what would they do without us sometimes?! LOL Good for him for having the fortitude to do that I guess. Even though it was way too fast. As for the hair loss, you mentioned the other day that you are on thyroid stuff right? Have you had it checked lately? I know that was one of my symptoms when mine was bad. I would get some blood work done to rule out anything hormonal. After getting anything medical ruled out, there are wonderful products to help. A gal I know, just started using some recently and has seen a difference already. Check at hair salons. Gena >> Ang, >> My goodness! Did he ever see a doctor? Guest guest
LOL. Jacy, you have more hair on your head than I do if I trippled it! LOL. Put it this way, My hair is all one length, no bangs. So I can take all my hair together into a ponytail. The diamiter of all the hair pulled together at it's thickest point is about the same as a dime. VERY thin - so I can't afford to loose! I do believe it was probably stress at first, but stress has went way down with the oldest now gone and all that horrific business over with. But it's still falling out. I have an appointment with a dermotolisist and am taking l-methionine. The appointment isn't until January though. Guest guest
I haven't had my blood checked in ages. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea.
