Guest guest
I just thought I'd throw that beach out and see if it struck a chord. I was there in the mid-70's-what a climb, huh? So I hear it's really commercialized now-t-shirts, the whole nine yards! I lived on Point Loma. Never got any further north than Anaheim, though. It be nice to visit again sometime. I bet I wouldn't recognize the area anymore. The last meeting I went to In ABQ was at the Heights! That was five years ago. I will be visiting there in October for my dad's 75th birthday. It will be the first visit without running away to a meeting somewhere. The paths ARE kind of strange. It was during my first marriage as well when I lived in SD! >From: BALIHAI333@... >Reply-To: 12-step-freeegroups >To: 12-step-freeegroups >Subject: Re: my big decision >Date: Mon, 2 Aug 1999 16:46:22 EDT > >, ... Guest guest
Kathy, They also run the ski lift in the summer on the other side of the mountains-it's a nice little ride, too. As for Black's-that was a long time ago! The ex was a redhead and burned very badly the last time we were there-all the way down one side! I don't think they made sunscreen back then!! Guest guest
Hi Kathy, My future ex went there Blacke's Beach. He was in the Nave from 1976 till sometime in 1981. Got an honorable discharge however, his rank was lowered due to his smart ass attitude with those in charge. Spent most time on ships near Persian Gulf and Pacific (Philipines, Japan, Korea) Jan Re: my big decision >Hi Jan. Once again we have tons in common. Guest guest
, The north coast is so beautiful! After my first divorce I moved to a condo along the bluff in Solano Beach. I used to sit there at night and stare at the waves with my beloved Husky, Tiki, by my side. I loved that beach. That was along time ago. I wonder if a few of those condo's didn't end up in the surf. When I first moved down there from LA, it was flowers all the way from Encinitas on Camino Real. And tomato's. I was so sad when I came back from a trip and was going down Encinitas Blvd. where it starts to turn into Rancho Santa Fe and there was a Mcs's. I knew it was the beginning of the end. I lived at the corner, where Olivenhain turns into Rancho Santa Fe, a sort of v shaped ranch that was divided up after it was sold after the divorce, but the bottom tip was where the road flooded every winter. We used to go get cross tie chains from the barn and the truck and pull people out. There was a flower shop right there, too. I imagine it looks very different now. Hope I didn't bore you tripping down memory lane. Kathy.
