Guest guest
Lynnie, thank you for replying. I also have family from Ireland, also England, Wales, Scotland, Denmark, etc. I have family traced back to English royalty (there's our problem Joe says-ha ha). I suppose some of you have read the theory why we have so much AD(H)D in this country is that it was the hyper couldn't fit in with society ones who left the old world and struck out for here where they could be free and unique and they had all this excess energy and ideas, etc. I'm pondering the idea of talking to 's family Dr. and asking for an anti-depressant for him. Though I feel most of his problems are caused by his mom I think with the predisposition to chemically caused depression (chemical imbalances and exposures to foods and chemicals he can't process) I think it would be safer on the drug than trying to survive it all without. Drugs scare me but suicide is worse. S. Guest guest
Oh, my gosh Lynnie, you are right. Connie is horrible about following thru with anything including medication. I will have to either continually call her to do it or see if Shane will be responsible to do that job. I didn't know about the Colorado thing (the meds involved). My daughter's friend at school was on lithium and I think the parents took him off and he committed suicide. I'll call her now and see how it went. 's decided against killing himself after he and talked about what happens after death to your body. He told her, " I changed my mind! " S.
