Guest guest
Absolutely Joe, Let's face it CGA gets so much traffic for the same reason the Heaven's Gate site did. There is even a site called the Wacky Awards dealing with 12 Step buffoonery on the internet. You can click on the various inductees to check out the plethora of XA whackjobs on the web. Guess who's site is at the top of their list. You guessed it, our old buddy Jim K. , the proud winner of their first ever coveted triple wacky award. He is clearly at the top of his field, and will earn my vote in any future psychotic sweepstakes. Also I will post a B & W self portrait in the vault that I took a couple of months ago. Coincidentally I too am into a reflections phase. You had mentioned doing some car reflection stuff at night that sounded interesting. I'm now into reflections off of plate glass windows combining the reflected images with those inside. I'm also into larger reflected images off of the glass facades of large buildings. We definitely have to hook up when I'm in England in the middle of September so we can go on camera safari through the streets of London. Definitely one of the most bizarre was " Diabetes Anonymous " . Diabetes killed off half my family (despite diet and meds), so I know a bit about living with it. Certainly one could say diabetes is a disease over which one is " powerless " ; but where on earth does doing a moral inventory and asking God to remove " character defects " fit in?? Are they claiming that diabetes is not a medical disease after all, but a condition resulting from moral turpitude? Seems to me joining this wackadoo cult just produces a guilt-laden, meetings-obsessed diabetic, certainly not a " recovering " anything!! I have a feeling that probably most of the members are actually AA's, who were already step-obsessed, and wanted to continue practicing their religion with others who happened to be diabetic. ~Rita > >> >> Re: Humor >> >> >Absolutely Joe, >> > Let's face it CGA gets so much traffic for the same reason the >> >Heaven's Gate site did.
