Hi Beth,

I am having an infertility workup. My DH's SA and post-coital test results

are normal. I will be taking a progesterone test one week after ovulation. I

just wanted to be ahead of the game.

Got a question for you. My RE has told me that my Fallopian tubes are clear

and normal as he has seen them during my previous surgery last year. Do you

think I should take the HSG with the dye to check out the tubes?

We ve been TTC for 4 months now. I just turned 33 a couple of weeks ago and I

feel like my clock is ticking loudly!

Sorry for not keeping up on the message board. I am pretty much of a lurker

this year. Hope your next IUI will be a success!

Rita

SU diagnosed 5/01, Hysteroscopic Resection of Uterine Septum 6/01 & 8/01

M here., one daughter Madeline (almost 2 years, who ALSO talks about

poopies all day), 3 miscarriages after -- currently waiting for 2nd HSG for dx

of SU/BU.

Roll Call!

Hello everyone,

I find myself wondering about many of you as traffic ebbs and flows on this

list. I was just admiring everyone's kids in the photo section of the Yahoo

page and wondering about how the new babies are doing.

I also wonder who is having what done and when. With the list at 185

members, it is hard to keep track.

Shall we have a roll call?

Beth here. SU. TTC. Donor IUI #17 coming up around the third of March.

Who's next?

If you are visiting the board via the web, photos of the children and

copies of u/s, hsgs, etc are under " Photos " on the left of the screen.

Generally, BU's and UD's have fairly good outlooks and are usually

left as nature created them. In theory, a BU or UD will not decrease

fertility and pg outlook is fairly good as well. There is an

increased chance of abnormal lie (breech position) and pre-term

delivery. But often, that can just mean an c-section a little earlier

that expected. Fortunately, we have lots of success stories here to

back that up! :-)

Good luck with the RE tomorrow. I will be thinking about you.

Hi Rita,

They say that you can never count on fertility staying the same from

one year to the next, but after 4 months, I would not get the HSG

just to check the tubes. I do understand how you are getting

impatient, though. I have felt that, too.

Thanks for the well wishes! Fertile thoughts to you, too.
