Guest guest
I am new, what crisp are you guys talking about? I need crispy - I NEED CHOCOLATE :-) Gracie I've never tried the crisps but they sound "legal" as long as you start withlow fat cheese.Debbie Y
Guest guest
My understanding is that low-fat and fat free milk and cheese (including cottage cheese), and lf/ff no-sugar added yogurt are permitted on Phase 1. I remember reading that the milk and no-sugar added yogurt were put back into Phase 1 recently (after the book was published). I've never tried the crisps but they sound " legal " as long as you start with low fat cheese. Debbie Y

Guest guest
Thanks Deb! If you want to try the cheese crisps, this is the way I did them yesterday. I used shredded low-fat cheese and made small mounds on parchment paper that I had placed on a salad plate. The size of the mounds is up to you.. how big you want the crisps. Make sure you use parchment paper, or maybe wax paper, because otherwise they stick to the plate. I mirowaved it for 45 seconds, let it cool for a couple seconds, took them off the parchment paper and put them on paper towel until really cool. Using a small plate took a while though, only could make 203 at a time. I think that I'm going to try a dinner plate next time. My husband likes these too. I had to shoo him out of them last night just so I'd have some left for me! ) > My understanding is that low-fat and fat free milk and cheese (including > cottage cheese), and lf/ff no-sugar added yogurt are permitted on Phase 1. > I remember reading that the milk and no-sugar added yogurt were put back > into Phase 1 recently (after the book was published). > > I've never tried the crisps but they sound " legal " as long as you start with > low fat cheese. > > Debbie Y
