drug " cure " There is someone who has been successful with biofeedback and

supplements like magnesium and taurine. There is another who is successful

with high doses of b vitamins but his form of epilepsy is easily treated that

way. It is not just for children. It is worthwhile you can learn a lot &

maybe your child will respond to one of the alternative methods. Jen has

been seizure free since starting Taurine. I am not sure yet if it is a

coincidence as it has only been a few weeks.

I went to a dietitian at our local hospital yesterday where they do not do

the keto diet just to check to see if I am supplementing properly as I did it

myself with the help of you all. She was so impressed with me and kept comp

lementing me on what a great job I was doing and how much I knew and that I

knew more than she did about so many things. She was very nice. I was

concerned because I had two doctors tell me Jen should not be on an adult

multi because of the fat soluble vitimins-specifically D-She said that the

400 of vitamin D in our adult multi is the recommended daily requirement for

a child Jens age so we are fine. She was a little concerned about the anount

of extra Magnesium I am giving as it is higher than recommended but said we

would see side effects if it too high. I told her I was afraid if we reduced

it we would see seizures so she said she didn't think it could hurt her &

that I knew more about siezure control with supplements than she did &

suggested I look up toxic levels myself. Shows you how much most people-even
