Guest guest Posted November 29, 2001 Report Share Posted November 29, 2001 Hi Everyone, Tomorrow I go in for my RAI. My endo is a nightmare....Real cold and uncaring. He originally told me from what he read on the path report that it " looks like they got it all " and I would " need no further treatment. " Uh uh. That doesn't set well in my book. So I got my Scan done this a.m. and it showed metes in my cervical lymph nodes. So I will get 150 mCi tomorrow. Thank GOd for you guys who have already been through it. I was so well prepared for this and have packed accordingly and did everything I was suppose to do (including going on the LID diet on week 4 before seeing the doctor in preparation for this specific date which I wanted on week 6). With 5 kids, a weekend RAI is much more convenient for me. And none too soon. My hypo is so bad I can no longer drive or even think. Writing this is even a challenge. Thank you for all the advice. I certainly got no help from my doctor...whom I have now fired and will go to my regular physician and a new endo once a year. This creep is getting reported to the AMA.
