Guest guest
.... the what the phrase " Spoiling you appetite " means. I never could understand how someone can spoil their appetite (by eating something right before a meal), because I thought appetite means " being able to eat " and I could always eat more, regardless how much I had already eaten. Well, since I have been paying more attention to my hunger and actually paying attention to food and enjoying it, instead of just stuffing myself, I am starting to understand that spoiling my appetite doesn't mean I can't physically eat more, but that I cannot enjoy the food as well as if I am truly hungry. For the first time in my life today, as I was cooking dinner and once again had eaten while fixing it, I realized that now I couldn't sit down and enjoy the meal with a clean palate and regreted it. This may be obvious to many people probably, but for me this is a new discovery. So, did I do great today in eating? No. Did I learn something? Absolutely. I am going to count that as progress.
