Guest guest
Thanks Beth for your support! I'm going to take it day by day and enjoy it while it lasts. I'm kind of confused about the whole PCOS issue, I'm not sure how that effects a pregnancy or how my lifestyle should change. Any suggestions for websites for information about PCOS? Thanks,

I am glad you asked, . I have a little page about PCOS, important mainly because it leads to several different resources on the topic. http://www.chibardun.net/~mickbeth/pco.htm It's got my story on it, too . . . very whiny, if I may say so myself. LOL. I guess the point I wanted to put across on that page was that PCOS can have some severe consequences (diabetes, heart disease, stroke) in later life, and early, comprehensive treatment is necessary. It can make an impact on pregnancy, too, although many women have no trouble at all. I decided I had to spout off about all of that after my OB/GYN told me that PCOS was not a problem " unless you want to have a baby. " Not so. And there is an excellent PCOS FAQ at: http://www.inciid.org/faqs/pcos.html If I got that URL wrong, it is also at the top of my own FAQ page. Hope this helps you somewhat. I am guessing that your PCOS, like mine, is probably mild, and therefore less of an overall problem. Hope so!
