Guest guest
Hi, After doing urine challenge test, we saw that our 4 year old has high arsenic and mercury. We are planning on starting chelation during the winter break. Our son weighs 44 lbs. So, we are planning on using 20mg DMSA every 4 hours ( DAN doctor suggested 200mg/3 every 8 hours ... 3 days on and 11 days off ). Now the questions .. We have 100mg capsules. How do we divide them into 5 parts to make 20 mg each? What else do i need to supplement during chelation? Our son is on Nu-thera, prodha, zinc, cod liver, probiotics, enzymes, olive leaf extract, biocidin, vit c and calcium/magnesium supplements. Thanks Geeta

(I called them). I purchased them and have divided the DMSA into additional capsules to get the dosage that I wanted. I hold up the capsules (in-between my finger and thumb) up to the light to see if they are the same amount, and then I cap them. (However, I wasn't trying to hold up 5 capsules at the same time! Just 2.) Don't you wish they'd sell DMSA in much smaller doses! Supplementation: have you considered selenium? and glutathione cream applied on the skin? I use what you use, plus the selenium, glutathione, and Kirkman's multiple mineral pro support (because good minerals are chelated along with the metals, and the minerals need to be replaced.) I'm not sure what prodha is. . . . Carolyn
