Guest guest Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Hello everyone - I haven't posted yet so I figured I'd start now. Now I'm a mother of 3, 37 and have done many different diets in the past, the most "successfull" was atkins where I lost over 30 pounds. Naturally I gained it all back and more and after trying to do it a second time found I could not even do it to begin with or lose anything at all. Now, I know we're not supposed to be watching our weight or living by the scale but I can't help but noticing just out of curiosity because I've been "feeling it in my face" so quickly. I've been living the IE way for maybe 3 weeks. Mind you I had been trying to listen to my body before receiving the book as a gift from my sister since I had never heard of this before but it was very difficult to "do on my own". So after reading it it all fell into place. So I've maybe been doign this 3 weeks, every day I'd check in on the scale - again, just out of curiosity and I've lost over 12 pounds. Is that normal? I'm honoring my hunger. I eat what I want and it happens I have always prefered healthy food anyway (just slathered in chocolate or peanut butter LOL) but now those don't satisfy me so I cut those out. But I'm wondering is that kind of loss normal here? I guess everyone's different and my normal range for my height and all is a good 50 pounds less than I was so I've got over 30 to go if that's where my body ends up. Just wondering if anyone is in that normal range or natural range for them stage yet and how fast you got there. thanks Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Yahoo!
