Guest guest
Congradulations Janet, keep up the great work. Helon Janet's weigh in Did y'all hear me ringing the bell tonight?? I lost 1.75 lbs and FINALLY got past that 50 pounds lost mark. I'm now officially down 51 lbs with TOPS.....took me 21 months to do it. 6 more pounds off and I'll be half-way to goal. While I'm tootin' my horn anyway..... Some of you might remember that I've been sulking about my size 22 jeans being too big, but not being able to get my big ol' tushie into any size 20's, well, about three weeks ago, I was finally able to fit into some 20's. The next week, my dear sweet hubby says to me "I thought you bought some smaller jeans"... well, I did, but heck if those 20's weren't too big now, too. Sooo, the next day I went right back to Wally World and bought me some size 18's! These are all the same brand and cut of jeans. AND, I actually put those 18's in the dryer. With the size 22's, when I was heavier, I never put them in the dryer. I'd wear 'em for about 4 days and then wash 'em and lay 'em flat so that they wouldn't shrink. Even then they would be soooo tight for the first day or so. Okay, I'm finished gloating now. Hugs, Janet TOPS # TX 429, Copperas Cove 278.75 starting wt / 227.75 current wt / 51.00 lbs lost / 62.75 to goal Every day you spend drifting away from your goals is a waste not onlyof that day, but also of the additional day it takes to regain lostground. -Ralph Marston 37 more "weigh ins" for 2004 EMAIL TEXAS-STYLE!! Guest guest
Weighed in with a 1.25 lb loss 17 weeks--no gains Walked 35.75 miles I'm leaving for a mini-vacation to Wimberley and San for 3 days. I've reserved a room in my favorite little Mountain Lodge motel, overlooking the Hill Country. Picking my daughter up from her church camp in Wimberley tomorrow, (I dropped her off on Sunday) and hopefully going to Sea World for the day. Then I'll drop her off in the evening, and enjoy Thursday and part of Friday "getting away from it all"! I'll pick her up from Church camp on Friday afternoon and will be back that evening. Then, I'll start replying to emails once again. Things have been TOO busy lately. Guest guest
Carolyn, I'm a struggling TOPS, seems like every time that get down I start gaining again. I'm only .25lb below where I started at the first of the year. I'll do really well for awhile and then I get lazy and start gaining..... I'm still trying to get below 200.
