Since they are asking for acute care MTs I would guess they want people with experience in acute care transcription. If you are a new MT with no experience you really could not qualify as being an acute care MT. 2. Acute care generally means hospital transcription . This means surgery, ICU, consultations, discharges, H & P, and other hospital transcription covering orthopedics, neurology, and so on. In other words, they need people who can take hospital accounts. 3. I think that most MedQuist MTs work from home whether they are employees or statutory employees. But don't quote me on that.
