Guest guest Posted February 19, 2008 Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 Can anyone give me some tips on using a Kuschall (or similar) wheelchair? I have just spent 4000 Euros on one thinking that it would make me feel better about having MS. I have waited 3 months for it to arrive as it is made to measure in Switzerland. As soon as I sat in it and tried to move in the shop today, I fell over backwards! It is extremely unsteady. I have ordered a stabiliser and don't want to use it again until it is fitted. It is a manual, very light, modern chair and obviously meant for people zipping around by themselves, negotiating steps and curbs.
