Shel, the MRI was of your brain only, right? Have you considered the full spectrum of MRI's? The spine, neck and brain stem? I wish I'd had it all done, not just the brain, when I did my MRI. FINALLY heard back from Doc concerning my MRI/MRA from Friday. Only had to call them TWICE...

MRI and MRA came back NORMAL... As if I DIDN'T expect that... & ! nbsp; So, I asked her what to do next and she said that he had told her not to change what I was doing... Huh>??? I'm sicker than a dog over here.. EVERY SINGLE day and he wants me to do NOTHING??? Not acceptable... So, I told her this and she asked what was going on... Huh?? Okay... So, again I told her.. She told me that she would tell him and call me back...

A little later she called back and I guess its off to the NEURO I go now...

It is also extremely important to have the brainstem, at the back,

at the base of the skull, studied by MRI; most of my plaques are

there, which is why I waddle around, but still have rather good

cognitive function; also, they did do a lumbar puncture and did find

oligoclonal bands, whereupon they did an MRI of my back; I have

many plaques there. It really is not ALL in our heads! Love to all

No, S.F. is where my neuro USED TO BE; she moved back to

New York (sob!); I have a neurologist who is o.k. in Oakland, CA,

but do not think that he will last long enough before retirement to

take on ANY new patients, nor should he. This is the charmer who cannot GET it that I am allergic to the Mannitol in Copaxone!

Otherwise, he handles my epilepsy quite well, and attempts to

cope with MS! Love, n

MRI and MRA came back NORMAL... As if I DIDN'T expect that... So, I asked her what to do next and she said that he had told her not to change what I was doing... Huh>??? I'm sicker than a dog over here.. EVERY SINGLE day and he wants me to do NOTHING??? Not acceptable.. . So, I told her this and she asked what was going on... Huh?? Okay... So, again I told her.. She told me that she would tell him and call me back...

A little later she called back and I guess its off to the NEURO I go now...

*sigh*

Why can't ANYTHING ever be easy?? Cut and dry???

I have been sooo ill this we! ek... Now... The AC is out, it's like a BILLION degrees here and I'm getting sicker and sicker in the heat... My eyes hurt, I'm nauseous, I have a killer headache... On and on...

Anyway, off to sleep a bit before I have to start work at 7pm...
