I bought a great pair of Old Navy faded pants at a resale shop for 14.00 at SRD. They normally go for like 30.00 so I was happy about that. I tried them on at SRD and they were very, very tight but I was like YOU KNOW WHAT? I'M GOING TO GET INTO THOSE SOMEDAY! Well...I'm wearing them to TOPS! LOL! YEAH ME! Okay. Just wanted to share. I will post my roll call when I get home. EXCITED AGAIN!

That's great ... but I think I might have been doing an even

bigger happy dance... I bought some new pants from Kohl's on

clearance for $3.00... yep, that's right $3 in a size 18W and I

didn't even try the suckers on... figured if they fit, they fit and

if they didn't they would someday... well, guess what... got them

home and tried them on and they zipped right up and I didn't have to

do that whole shake and shimmy, pull and tug, suck your gut in and

hold your breath until you turn blue thing either.. they just and

zipped and buttoned no problemo!!

Also, big goof at the gym this week; somehow I grabbed an outfit that

was not what I intended to wear to work.. and lo and behold it was

another pair of 18 Dockers that I haven't been able to wear in 3+

years.

I've lost 28 pounds since September retreat and a podiatry surgery

that has me back in the gym and walking pain free..except for a knee

that likes to act up every now and then... I have dropped from a size

26 to an 18... woohoo.

For those of you that asked, Lucas in in North Texas ('s)

area... I actually live in which is about 25 miles north of

Dallas on hwy 75; Lucas is the next town east of about 5 miles

off of hwy75. We meet on Tuesday nights; I am a founding member of

the chapter and was the chief organizer of this chapter. We turn 4

years old on August 1st; I've been leader now for year 2000, 2001,

2003, 2004.
