Is this supposed to be for ferritin? My labs say 10-291 for a range. I was 24.

(unknown)

Thanks Shirley! In the link below, it stated the following (what I

find interesting is the last statement!):

Normal Values

male: 12 to 300 ng/ml

female: 12 to 150 ng/ml

Note: ng/ml = nanograms per milliliter

The lower the ferritin level, even within the " normal " range, the

more likely a patient is iron deficient.

Yes, but all labs are different. And your lab ranges, and the lab

ranges below, are WAYYYYYYYY too low. Who in the HECK develops these

AWFUL ranges!!!!!! Did you know that even the free T3 range was once

a LOT higher than most labs have it now????

Mine is via Labcorb. I knew my ferritin level was way low. On the floradix is

the first time I have seen color in my face in many months. Not even the ferrous

sulfate did that.

Yesterday I made macaroni and cheese and an hour later went in and found that all the water was gone and the noodles were stuck to the pan.....cracked me up because I only realized it when I grabbed ANOTHER box of macaroni because I didn't think I had added it....

I love fibro fog :)

sure is... was going through the medicine cabinet and found entirely too many anxiety meds in there... Paxil, Zoloft, Clozapine, etc.

But I've recently taken myself off of all meds so it's been interesting...lol

No, my ADD allows me to follow the conversations at 4 different tables around me and still carry on the conversation I'm having at my own table. I've become a great multi tasker.

> Most definitely.

Tigger is right, Theresa. For me, it was sometimes like 50 televisions

all on different stations, and you can't tune them out to listen to

just one (or none!)

Anxiety goes part and parcel with FMS for me. When I don't feel well,

my anxiety can be bad, but when I feel well, my anxiety is nil.

Hi ,

Welcome to this group! As you have already probably seen, there's lots of

support and advice here. What you are going through is pretty normal,

most of us have been through it. As tough as it might be, given your

history with disordered eating, the first thing I would look at is how

hard you are being on yourself. Intuitive Eating is about taking care of

yourself, not beating yourself up. When you overeat, it's an opportunity

to learn something new about yourself or your behaviors. What you learn

will help you in the future and make you more aware of what triggers your

eating.

I think right now is a great time to get on with your life. Stop waiting

for the right time, like when you eat intuitively. That's perfectionistic

thinking and doesn't have any place in IE. It's time to live life fully,

right now the way you are. You deserve it! The more you enjoy your life,

the easier IE gets, that's been my experience. Find things you love to do

and don't put them off. When you have other interests, food often isn't

as important. I've seen lots of people who only have food, it's their

only comfort and fun thing to do. It's important to have other things and

to not put them off.

Hopefully this is helpful. Feel free to ask any questions here, we're

here to support you!

Thanks!
