Guest guest
Jacquie, LOL, well yes and no. He did decide to paint with watercolors all over the tv and sofa and carpet(that I had just steam cleaned yesterday!) and himself. Well, Alec was part of all that today too, but oh well. Guest guest
-Mimi, Yes, it is Dr. Grossman, and I have got into a bad habit of not having regular meals. We recently switched back to the table everynight. It seems to help. The other technique, was that holding thing to calm down kids. We dont use him anymore because he stopped taking our insurance. Guest guest
-- Mimi, We started to take the kids to his ex-partner, Dr. Serruya, who is very nice, but, im not too sure about in terms of knowledge. He takes our insurance, and he was able to get 24 hr eeg, quicker than Dr. grossman did. I always come across someone who has gone to Dr. Grossman, and they always have the same reaction to him, what a surprise. LOL. Were you seeing him at New Hyde Park? Guest guest
It seems like Jacqui would be a lot lower than that. Knowing the person who made up the scale, Im not sure Id base too much on it. I remember when we took to him for the first time, and I mentioned that he banged his head once or twice when he was an infant (like 6 months old). He wanted to include that in his list of symptoms which I thought was a bit unfair, given that this isnt atypical of normal infants and he never did it since then. The other thing is that he told me that only autistic kids boss their parents around. When was 4 he would ask my husband to leave the room, because he only wanted me around. I thought this was pretty normal behavior for any child. We had a big argument over this. thea > Jacqui is a 135 > > PDD Assessment Scale > > > check this out guys!! heather sent it to me before... > http://www.childbrain.com/pddassess.html > > kailey got a 142 > > > Autism is not the end of the World. . . . just the beginning of a new one. - > Sally Meyer > > Combine all your instant messengers into one easy application! > www.trillian.cc > > > >
