Dawn,

Are you seriously using your journal to record your food intake and exercise

and moods? I just track my food intake, but haven't spent a lot of time

writing in my journal. I guess I should start since I know it's connected.

Alison,

I journal my day each morning. I also have a chart for exercise that I fill

in and a chart for water. I check a box off each time I grab a glass. I

don't track my moods.

butting in here, but I DO track my " moods " or my " reasons " . Like if

Im eating more of something than I really need to, I might jot

down " due to boredom " , or " kids are out in the car, not home yet " ,

lol. Just little things in the sidelines. Then at the end of each

week, I'll write why I think I had that result for the week, and what

I expect for the new week, etc. It can be very cathartic too! A bit

like a regular diary!

I really do enjoy the journaling aspect. I pack my lunch at night for

the next day at work, and write everything down in my journal. Then

as I eat through the day, I simply check my points off. I know

exactly what I'll be havin each day, and I RARELY eat something

different when I get to work (saves money too).

I've had a few low loss weeks, but so far (knock wood) I haven't

gained back anything either!
