I don't remember who it was that said it but I really liked the one about eating anything you want to... in front of the bathroom mirror naked! If that doesn't supress my appatite, NOTHING will!!!

I can't think of a better weight loss tip than what my Aunt Walters told me about 15 years and 2 months ago. I was complaining about my weight and how the kids at school picked on me all the time. You know what she said? Her tip was, "Why don't you come join TOPS with me?" That was the best advice anyone ever gave me!

I think my best diet tips are that I should not eat after 7 P.M. and to

exercise often during the week and drink that water, BUT, I have no will

power and I can not focus on doing this as I should. I do drink the water

now because I have given up regular Dr. Peppers and I just have not gotten

past that diet taste on the diets ones to just sit around and drink them by

themselves, therefore I drink water, or, Crystal Light. The eating after 7

P.M. is my biggest downfall because my husband works nights and gets in

about 1-3 A.M. and I usually stay up until he comes in and I fix him

soemthing to eat and soemtimes I am weak and will eat with him and then I am

going to bed. I know this is horrible but we have very little time together

on the weekdays because of his hours of work and mine. I get exercise

because I clean homes and trust me there is a lot of exercise when you are

cleaning.

I really need to start doing more walking. I walked 7 miles last week, but,

I don't know if thats what has caused my thigh and pelvic area to hurt or

what, but, I am having a lot of problems with that for the past few days.

I know the one thing that was said a few years ago is that if you gain this

week let it go and just try for a loss the next week because nothing can be

done about the gain except to lose next time.

Good advice Pepper, I fully agree with you on the not eating after 7:00 PM, but it is sure hard to stick too around here also.

But I do get enough water most days.....I usually drink about 3 liters a day.

My favorite tip is: Do not think of weight loss as a "diet". It has to be a lifestyle change. Diet sounds temporary - lifestyle change is permanent. And, that's what maintaining your weight is - lifetime.
