Guest guest
Sabine... Thank you! What beautiful things to say about Zip-N-Squeeze! That's exactly why I developed the squeeze bags: because the syringes are awkward, messy and SO energy consuming to use! The problem is ...no one knows what it's like (in a condition such as post-op jaw surgery) to have to consume an entire diet via a syringe....except the nurse and the patient! Don't get me wrong...there are many caring surgeons....but their main focus is the surgery. It's the nurses and the patients afterward that take it from there. Most Docs rarely get to see what it takes to eat with that syringe! The Zip-N-Squeeze aren't perfect, but I think they are a HUGE step up from the syringe, and even when cups and straws can be used but are difficult and tiring, the " zippies " can help get more nourishment in easier. I am working on improving the products daily. I'm really excited about this little post-op cleft feeder I'm going to introduce at the Cleft palate convention in 10 days! Lastly, I WILL have my l-o-n-g- awaited liquid diet teaching/recipe book ready by June. (should have been done long ago) I felt a great need to teach people how to get good nutrition in while on a liquid diet and why it's SO important. Well....that sure was LONG winded! Sorry, just sitting here drinking my coffee and reading E-Mails! Do you mind if I use what you posted as a testimonial for my product? I love to collect letters and display them at the conventions I go to. Thanks again Sabine! Guest guest
Sabine.......anyone else who has used Zip-N-Squeeze and is still on the board? Do you have any pictures post-op you would like to send to me that I can put with a testimonial? I have a AAOMS (American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons) convention that I will be exhibiting the Zip-N-Squeeze at this summer. I would like to get a few pics if possible of post-op faces and place them next to your words about Zip-N-Squeeze! Even better if you have any pics USING zip-n-squeeze! Pictures are powerful proof, showing the results of zip-n-squeeze from people who have used the products! Away with syringes! Thanks ahead of time! If you are interested in helping me spread the word to others that there is an easier way to take in a liquid diet after surgery, you can send pics/info to: SUSAN BEAUDETTE RN PO BOX 575 YORBA LINDA CA 92867 > > I just wanted to thank you for making such a great product. Guest guest
! I would be happy if you use my testimonial. I haven't used your bags since Thursday, since I am now official off a liquid diet, but I have already lost 2lbs again. It is still too hard to get a lot of food in by cutting everything up in small pieces and swallow it. Andy even using the regular straw is so much more work then using the zip- n-sqeeze. I might have to use the bags for a couple more days, till I get the hang of eating 'real' food. Thanks for making a great product. Guest guest
By the way, , I also left one of each type for my neurologist. After seeing some of her post-stroke patients, and others with similar troubles, it occurred to me that she might have folks who need them, too. And she's like you -- the sort of sweet person who really cares, and will jump at anything that might be helpful for her patients, I think. Haven't heard anything back from her about them, but if I do, will let you know. Cammie

Guest guest
Thank you Cammie! That was So thoughtful of you to tell your neurologist about the Zip- N-Squeeze. I had a friend of mine use them once on a patient in a nursing home who was refusing to eat or take in liquid supplements. My friend said as soon as she filled the ZNS bag up with Ensure, slipped the tube to the side of the ladys mouth and gently squeezed...the lady drank down the entire thing!! Turns out she had such muscle weakness in the front of her mouth she couldn't pull the food or fluids to the back of her mouth to swallow! Her swallowing was intact so there was no risk of choking....she had just given up because it was too much work to eat and couldn't talk well enough to tell anyone! My freind said soo this lady began to perk up and put weight back on. I tell ya, stories like THAT make me feel SO good...keeps me going with this project!! Lastly, YES! I would love for you to be the very first person to have a copy of this S-L-O-W-L-y evolving book! I keep having to set it aside for other projects. After I come back from the Cleft palate convention at the end of the month, I will get right on finishing the book up. As a matter of fact, I think I will send you a copy BERFORE publishing...and have you give me your take on it...being in the editing business and such a staple to this support group! Well...got to run, Thanks again Cammie! Guest guest
Whoopie! And Thanks! Once I got to say " Stop the Press! " three times in one morning -- that's gotta be some kind of record, don't you think. And now I get to say, " Hot off the press! " too. Wowser! I look forward to seeing it, . If you want me to proofread or copyedit, the offer still stands. Usually folks run out of time, but you'll discover that recipe critics are like no others. There's a HUGE Gotcha! squad out there who love to find errors and tell you about them! Thanks. Cammie
