Wow, Miss Melody has been a busy, busy girl! I know that the Texas TOPS message board will be a welcome additional means of support for TOPS members. Gee, wait 'til those other state websites hear that we now have a message board, too!!!! For those of you who haven't checked out any other TOPS websites for other states, well, they don't compare. In fact, they don't even come close to the Texas TOPS site that Melody has put together for us. Okay, now would someone please go post to the message board so that I won't have to be first?! LOL. I'm a little slow when it comes to new things.

I agree the web site is awesome. Melody, you are doing a great job. My question is, do we need to contribute anything to the upkeep. I hate to think of you putting out a bunch of money to run it. I don't know how all this works but I don't like to think you are out of pocket for doing it.

Ya'll are the best!! This is exactly what I envisioned for TexasTOPS!! A website that would blow the other states out of the water! Afterall.....this IS Texas! ....and Texans NEVER do anything halfway!!

Yep Janet! I'm definitely feeling much better now, Thank you for asking....can't wait to get back to Curves tomorrow either! I have missed it a lot!

But I found this one and they've done all the work, offering what I wanted (cgi scripting isn't my favorite thing to do) and the fee is reasonable (it's only $4.00/mo to get rid of the ads or $6.00/mo to get the added features) so it won't be bad at all.

Thanks for any assistance that you might be able to provide. It doesn't have to be a large amount...if 12 people kick in $6 each, we'll pay for a year of the message board cost. If we have more than 12 who contribute, the amount can be even less. Any other $ can be used to cover the cost of the buttons that some of us received from Melody at SRD and also the time that she's put into the Texas Tops website. I'm sure that she'll just say that she has donated her time, BUT keep in mind, building websites is what this lady does for a living...and she's dang good at it! Melody would never ask for any money from us, but as you can see, I have no problem asking on her behalf!

(Can you tell that I've been doing fundraisers all year for high school project graduation, and I'm no longer shy about asking for donations of money or prizes!)
