Maybe this meant something to the Gyn, but after reading all the posts here, it seem like very little information to me. It has the measurement of my uterus, and that I have numerous fibroids which were difficult to separate and measure individually. Then the measurements of the ovaries. I don't know if they can't tell this from the ultrasound, but it sure doesn't say what kind of fibroids or really anything else except this: Impression: Enlarged uterus with characteristics consistent with fibroids. No kidding. I think the Gyn figured that out with the ultrasound. Oh well, at least I can carry this with me when I go for my 2nd opinion. I'm waiting now for an e-mail from a group with several locations to see which of their doctors I need to make an appointment with. Among those that have had an ultrasound, are they usually this general? Or maybe my uterus is just one big bumpy fibroid after all this time.
