Janet,

Great to have you back and posting. Glad your computer is fixed and virus free. Oh my goodness gum in the dryer, what a mess that must have been.

The pictures are great. Glad you have them on the website. Helps with my memory of who is who.

EVERYONE knows that no two scales ever weigh the same!!! When my old chapter disbanded and I joined the new chapter there was a 5 pound difference in it. It's not really a true weight gain although it will be for Tops but you know it isn't so that's what counts.

Again, good to see you back posting and the babies are so cute !!

Sorry about the gain, Janet. Our scale at chapter weighs me 2 lbs. higher than my scale, also. It's truly frustrating when you have to deal with it, but now that the first weigh-in is behind you, next week will be more accurate. Good luck - we know you can do it. Congrats on changing chapters - Jackie is a sweet, sweet lady and must be a wonderful Leader.

Hugs,

Deanna

DIETO contest (Mar.29-Apr. 4)Janet's roll call

[whining]....

Well, this was the weigh in that I was nervous about. My chapter officially disbanded right after SRD, so Tuesday, March 30th was my first weigh in with my new chapter....#TX 429, Copperas Cove. I'd been told by a member of my disbanding chapter, who used to be in my new chapter, that the scale at the new chapter was not as "friendly" as the old chapter's scale. Soooo, to check the difference, I stopped by the old chapter's meeting place (my church fellowship hall) and weighed in on that scale before going to new chapter. It showed me being .50 up from last weigh in, which I agree with. I knew that I ate more than I usually do at SRD. Something about being out of town, and out of my usual routine, and just down the road from Jack in the Box, where they have something called a zesty turkey pannido, which is just too yummy (I think I had 3 over the course of SRD!!). Anyway, the scale at new chapter showed me up 2.50 lbs!!! That is a 2 lb difference in scales! 2 lbs is a VERY big deal to me!! That puts me back up to 237.25.... and I was so happy last week to have finally gotten below 235. I was crushed to stand up in front of about 30 people, on my first day at the new chapter, and announce that I had a 2.50 lb gain. Well, that's incentive enough for me not to have another gain!!!! :>)

On a happy note....I love my new chapter. Jackie, from this list, is my leader, and , also on this list, is the asst. wt. recorder. Jackie is a WONDERFUL leader and Area Captain, so it was no surprise to see her re-elected, and I was so happy to see get installed to her position for the first time on Tuesday. I was so impressed at how Jackie ran the meeting. Its a large group and I'm so excited to be a part of it.

Hope you're all having a terrific week and making good choices!

(((HUGS))) and blessings,

Janet

Like I told you last night- don't let it bother you. You WILL do better next week. And I like roll call, because you have to put a voice to what you did... good or bad. I like the whole taking ownership of how the prior week was.

I'm back off to sew some more I think- toodles!
