Guest guest
First off I just want to say I hate you all for having a loss after SRD! And 2nd....it was wonderful see you again and get several hugs Barbara. I hope one day I can return to Dallas for a visit because I enjoyed spending time with you and your husband that time I came to speak to your chapter. It was a blast! Jackie, it was so good to see you again at SRD this year.....saw so many of my friends from retreat and IRD. I'm really looking forward to IRD...have my flight reservations and roommates. It was soooooo good too to see my "sisters".... and Gloria Robbins. , Loren, Betty M, Lou Rawls, Loni, Winnie, and sooooo many more that my weak brain can't think right now. I hated that I had to miss the Retreat Reunion but our chapter went to lunch right after the KOPS graduating rehearsal, and didn't get back in time for the retreat. I did enjoy the Web meeting, and getting to meet Melody. You're doing a great job Melody with this loop. I'm not sure why I'm still getting this on the other address though (KlassyKOPS). Please send all mail to this address. It's the only way I can keep up with all the mail from the different groups that I belong too. Our chapter #TX1760, Cedar HIll won 1st place in the name contest. We were disappointed that our slate and Teacher's Pet awards...and the lunch box didn't place though. I'm prejudiced of course, but they all were really very good. Thank you! p.s....had a 1 lb. loss this morning. Barbara Reese, Leader TOPS #TX1760, Cedar Hill BestGran1937@...
Guest guest
CONGRATULATIONS on the name tag winning!!! There were so many good ones there on all the items that in know the judges had a hard time picking just one. We also entered a lunch box but it was kinda plain, but, it was pretty. We had a name tag entered also and it was real cute I thought but like you I am prejudice. I would not want to be a judge on any of them because there were some really pretty and unique ones there. I am happy you all won the name tag. Guest guest
I was really surprised when we won on the slate and the dress to theme contest and then the teacher's pet also was one of the ten chosen. Our name tag did not place either, but as you said there were a lot of cute and unique slates, nametags, lunch boxe, and themes. We also had a lunch box but it did not place either. I was thrilled with the items that did though. Didn't you all win with the name tags last years also? I may be confused but I thought you all had won either 1st or 2nd place last year. I know that the ones who put this SRD on did a great job and I enjoyed every minute of it. I hope to see you in San Angelo next year.
