If you have only been on Iodoral one month, then are you saying

the one cycle went from 26-68 days to 17-21? It would not be possible for one

month of iodine to affect more than one cycle.

But, Iodine does cause your body to detos, and if your body is

detoxing, women can have as a detox symptom closer, heavier cycles as the body

is clearing out toxins from the reproductive organs. It is ok. If it continues

for a while, then vitamin A in high doses can help reset your system, if I

remember right. had this happen, maybe she can add to this.

Can Iodine cause a change in the frequency of

menstrual cycle's? I have been on thyroid medication for almost a year now. I

started Iodoral about a month ago and noticed my periods have gone from every

26-28 days to every 17-21 days. Any help is much appreciated.

I did - it was every 2 weeks for three times. I took 3 doses of 25,000 iU Vit A and it fixed it.
