Guest guest
Please help! My son has been scd for 5 weeks and we have been doing goats yogurt for about a week and yesterday he had some hard poops (very small marbles) with a little blood on it. I didn't worry then but tonight he pooped again and there were alot of small marbles again, they are pretty small but again I saw some blood on the outside of a few of the marbles. There wasn't a bunch of blood but there was some. Do you think it is because he is constipated?? Or do you think he could be bleeding internally??? He doesn't seem to be in any pain. I'm a bit concerned. He is eating the following: zucchini, spinach, chicken, hamburg, cod, summer squash, applesauce, butternut squash, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, juice, scd vitamin, zinc Do you think I should call the doctor??? Thank you in advance. Donna & Wesley Wesley, 02-12-02, scd 5 weeks
Guest guest
---My son who has never been on a diet has had this problem. I added some pear juice & some fruts to his diet & it cleared up. The doctor told me that it was probably because his stools were hard & scratched his rectum coming out. I'd add juice & some fruits & see how it is in about 24 hours. Guest guest
The color of the blood tells you something, too. I think, bright red would come from down lower, browner would be farther up internal. Bright red is of less concern. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Guest guest
Hi Donna, Are you peeling, deseeding and cooking all vegetables and fruits? If yes and this continues or worsens then you could go to the constipation protocol and start that. http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/constipation ..htm http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/constipation _continued.htm If you are using raw fruit and veggies you need to peel, deseed and cook them. Make sure he is getting lots of fluids and that juices are diluted with half water. Keep us updated, okay?
