Guest guest
" Does that mean the Knudsen is ok? " The Knudsen " Just Pomegranate " juice will be fine to use. Make sure to not use it full strength. All juices should be watered down at least 50%. Jody mom to -5.1 and -7.
Guest guest
Hi Chystee, Pomegranates are legal. > is pomegranate legal? I checked the BTVC site and didn't see it on the > > list. The Knudsen juices are not included in the official legal juices. If you have contacted the company and received written confirmation (snail mail) and you are comfortable with it then the choice to use it falls to you. If you decide to use it and in the future find that your results on SCD are not where you would like them or are regressing or having flare-ups please stop using it. > > Not to bring up the purchased juice debate again BUT.... > > > > Pomegranates are a low salicylate fruit. RW Knudsen mades pomegranate > > juice. I could make all sorts of things with it.......jello, fruit > I saw the pomegranate concentrate at digestivewellness.com! Does that > mean the Knudsen is ok? Just because it is sold at digestivewellness.com it is not automatically legal. Again, the legal juices are those as in BTVC. This is me not yelling or " wrist slapping " as some people have intimated. Just standing firm to SCD as it was written in BTVC. That is done to protect SCD for those doing it now and those who come to SCD in 5 years and 20 years. Sorry to be such a party -pooper. I hope you understand. Guest guest
Hi Sheila, When I read your post I decided to call the owner of Digestive Wellness. She said that the link you posted was written by the company that sells the fruit leathers. She said that she will remove that webpage to prevent any misunderstanding. Digestive Wellness only sells the fruit leathers that do not have any flavors. The owner of Digestive Wellness has been doing SCD for five years for her digestive problems and tries to be very careful.. The owner of Digestive Wellnes and Elaine do not always agree. The owner of Digestive Wellnes used to sell bean flour and that upset Elaine. However most of the controversies have been about items that are not available on the website and are sold only to people who live in certain neighborhoods. Guest guest
Thanks Mimi for helping to clear that up.
