Guest guest
You can make your own coconut milk...... or nut milk. Maybe that would be a passable substitute? Guest guest
>> I was just about to ask this!!!! I am 99% SCD with my kids, and that 1% would be my Hazelnut flavored coffee creamer!!! << and , I don't drink coffee very often (I'm a tea fiend) but pre-SCD, when I did, my husband used to ask me if I was having a little coffee with my cream! What I'd do is get some hazelnuts and make hazelnut nut-milk, and use that in your coffee. If that's not creamy enough, use more nuts to make a " cream " . -- Marilyn (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA)
Guest guest
Hi , You could try adding some nut milk, (which is not for newbies) Also, some Adult SCDers treat Heavy cream (without additives, carrageenan etc.) to Lacteeze drops - if you want the details I can send it to you privately - I don't want to confuse other newbies just starting their kids on the diet. (Not to be confused with Lactaid or Lactose hydrolyzed milk which is illegal). I am not sure if the drops are available in the States anymore but they are still sold in Canada. Again, this is not for those just starting the diet but they are options. - Did I mention these are not for newbies Sheila, SCD 36 mos, UC 20 yrs mom of SCD 20 mos Hi.
