hip pain

I had severe hip pain and after an xray it revealed I had osteoporosis, a

thinning of my pelvic bone in the front. So, doctor put me on Actonel, and for

some reason it has stopped all my aches and pains in my back and hips, etc. I

had sharp, catching pains in my lower back from my back acting like a shock

absorber from my scooter. It has stopped those pains as well. It happened

after about a month of taking it. I take on 35 mg.pill a week and have now for

over two years. Donna B

story short, after getting it checked out, many docs, MRI, etc., the

hip pain was from a herniated disc in my back.

For sure, get it checked out.

Thanks Gretchen, I am taking it very mellow today. I see mny primary

doctor on Monday and will definitely bring attention to the pain.
