Guest guest
thanks to everyone for the very helpful replies and correcting my huge casein blunder! paddy seems remarkable better today! we had a dr.'s appt, then an x- ray, then another dr. visit, and a trip to the grocery store! no small task for paddy, even each event alone! he did a great job and there were no problems! (very big deal!) AND ... he ate three hamburger patties today ~ a first! so today is much, much, much better than yesterday! i even got carrot in his pancakes this morning without notice. so he's had a completely fruit, egg and meat only day today. no nuts or raisins, or hard to digest foods and definitely no yogurt. i think i'm going to postpone yogurt for awhile and think about it down the road. the past 5-6 days were enough to convince me to stick to basics for awhile. and jody - you asked about paddy's texture preferences. it's hard to say. anything puree'd has to be completely smooth. but he'll easily eat scrambled eggs. he's big into baked goods, but i'm laying off that for a couple of days. i can't get him to eat any raw fruits/veggies. they have to be puree'd and then put into other things like pancakes, muffins, etc ... and he ate the hamburger today after thoroughly checking it out. hmmmm. Guest guest
Amy, Will he eat completely pureed foods? Or do you have to hide them in something? The green pudding recipe on pecanbread.com is completely smooth and tastes like pudding (made from avocado/banana and a little tiny bit of nutbutter). What about applesauce? And you mentioned him not wanting to eat raw fruit... that's good for now since he doesn't need any raw fruit in the beginning anyway. Have you tried making meatloaf and putting pureed veggies/fruit in the meatloaf? Jody mom to -5.1 and -7.
Guest guest
> > Will he eat completely pureed foods?
