Good news! Aubrie is finally above the 5th% in height and weight!! I can

hardly believe it! The pediatrician was thrilled. She has never made it into

the white part of the growth chart before! She's a bit over 35 lbs and 34 "

tall. She still looks like a 3- or 4-year-old, but we have a " typical " friend

who is also her age and her size. She's trying to eat all of her healthy foods

at mealtime and finish all of her milk because she so wants to reach 40lb and

get into a booster seat.

This was her kindergarten physical. She's doing so well. The doctor could even

understand much of her speech! She cried for her shots but got over it quickly

when she got 3 stickers. She was proud to show Daddy her bandaids when we got

home.

Gotta run. We're off to the zoo tomorrow-- yippee! We have a late appointment

for a teeth cleaning at the children's hospital so we might as well enjoy our

trip to the city. I am hoping that this will be the visit where she actually

sits still and cooperates rather than being held down. It's so awful!

No. I have struggled with trying to decide if she needs an endo eval. Each

time we see Meg, it's one of my questions for her. So far, it seems that she is

doing well even though she is way below average height and weight for her age.

She continues to outgrow clothes and shoes at a reasonable rate.
