In fact, they are so painful that he has a hard time walking around college and he has said that maybe he won't go back next semester. Friday he goes to Danville Hospital (same place I had my operations) to the Rheumatologist to have several tests to determine why his legs hurt so much. He had had problems with his legs in 6th grade (missed a lot of school) and also in 10th grade. Nothing was found either of those times; except " growing pains " . Well, he's 19 now and I don't think he's growing anymore. He told me a group at the Praise group prayed over his legs. He said, " Mom, you would have cried if you were there, it was so neat! He's tried vioox and celebrex and all kinds of Motrin etc. He's put on rubs that don't do anything. He said all he wanted was a pill. I asked him what kind of pill. He said he wanted to kill himself because he just couldn't take the pain anymore. This really has me upset as he is only 19 years old. So he doesn't want to take that strong a medicine. Alot of the prescription meds don't give me any relief, (about as much relief as just drinking a glass of water). But yet it allows me to function.
