Amy,

I'm with you on that one! Neck massages (for the parents) should be a required

component of SCD for kids. Try going without those raisins..... even though

pureeing them seems like it would be better, the skins are still in there. See

if there is any difference after a week without them. If you need sweetness, how

bout pear sauce?

Didn't Elaine say that the casein is sometimes better tolerated when the lactose

gets eaten up by incubation?

Goat casein is different from cows, shorter protein chain and easier to

break down. Just remember not to heat it over 185* !

but casein is still gonna be there. Many of the CF kids seem to be able to

tolerate SCD goat yogurt, though. Take Jody's suggestion on the Custom

Probiotics yogurt starter (contact info on pecanbread.com) and give goat a

try when you're ready.
