Vickie - no luck

AOL said that website had to be debugged before opening it - it had corrected

69 lines when I canceled the debugging. Thanks for information anyway.

Vickie - my entire computer froze up; couldn't reboot; had to turn switch off

then turn on the anti-virus setup plus the built in anti-virus sweep and

finally got the computer back online and working right. Anyway, I'm not

trying that website again - ever!

Anyway, after all this, it's time to get to bed and be thankful the computer

is correctly running again. - 'nite, Jim

The link has some buggy JavaScript in it. Using Netscape, none of the

pull-down boxes appear. They work okay under Internet Explorer. Since

I use Netscape exclusively, I didn't bother bookmarking this site,

unfortunately. I imagine that the AOL browser that Jim is using is

having problems similar to Netscape.

Sure, Teddi,

It was a genuine pleasure to open the screen, seeing a naked woman inviting

me to read her personal ads for a date hook-up ----- with my wife looking

over my shoulder!!!!UGH!!!

Teddi,

With that naked woman sprawled over the bed, I guess because I am on AOL with

their browser, the screen froze - couldn't do a thing, but reach behind the

monitor and switched of the computer and told my wife that something must

have happened to the computer.

It took another 20-30 minutes to run through two virus programs I have

installed, before I was able to get the computer running correctly again.

(It seems funny now, but, boy, last night I couldn't find a thing to smile

about.)

Oh Mike... sending a Thankgiving dinner would be next to impossible to

do. Just the smell coming from the FedEx box would make the FedEx

drivers go crazy.

LOL...you couldn't get me to send ANYONE a Thankgiving dinner. Thats

the MOST wonderful time of the year. I can't wait. Hope you had a good

work out...have you gained any weight yet?

Hi Vicki.

I was pretty lucky, since I only gained about 15 pounds while on the

higher doses of prednisone, and I've lost about a third of that since

the dosage has been dropped -- just a few more pounds to lose and

I'll look like I did before, except that instead of being pale I now

have a ruddy complection. I didn't get much of the moon-face, and no

deposit on the back of the neck at all.

The workout was good, once I got started.

Good Morning Everyone

... I usually go to a friends house but last year I was to sick so

I just made myself a meal here at home. Seems when I plan on something

in advance it never works the way I would like.

I'm just my normal tired right now.... usually when I get extra tired I

won't post to much....Yes, I'm still on the Enbrel. I would hate to

find out what I would feel like without it. Although, this coming Feb.

I might find out.

At the bottom of this post.... click on the Myo 2.... it should work

with a computer. Let me know. The Myo 1 has the drop down menu and

I've had about 5 computer users use it and they have no problem. I made

a duplicate page in hopes the computers can use it.

As far as getting SSI off your husband, this is true. You should call

them and request the form. Every little bit helps.

And, we all know, that this disease has many ups and downs. So, don't

put it off because your feeling better at the moment..... also, if you

feel you can go back to work, they have a program where you can work and

still collect. It's a trial to see if you are able to work having this

disease...

Hi Mike.... why you lucky devil you. I was doing so well in dropping

the excess weight when I started to have trouble breathing. They wanted

me to go up to 20 mgs on the Prednisone...this was enough to make me

jump up on my weight again. Since that time I have been unable to drop

the excess weight. I'm telling you it's just the pits... I'm very, very

small boned.... and having this much weight on my tiny bone structure is

not good..... it's like dragging around two cement sacks behind you.

Hope your having a good day.

Mike, if you can exercise that much on the treadmill....your doing

great. I'm at the stage, any exercise will cause a flare up. I have to

be very careful when I get out and do my walks to remember my limits.

There are many times when I want to do more but can't take the chance.

It looks like someone's email program is set up to include HTML

attachments. It's always best if we all use pnain text only. This is

especially true for thos who read the Digest version.

Vickie:

Re: the damage the old man with the tractor did to your property, did that

cost of $100 include the cost of his seeing eye dog? If so, then the seeing

eye dog needs a helper, too.

Good Morning everyone.... hope you all had a great weekend.

... From what Greg has told me and the little amount Helen was able

to tell me, she's only on antibiotics. When she was getting the IVIg,

she was doing so much better. It was when they stop that treatment

because of the expense that she started to decline.

Greg said he really liked her doctor but he felt that her hands were

tied. She herself made the statement that she would do everything she

could but since Helen was now in the hospital it would be up to the

hospital as to what else they wanted done on her. This could be the

reason her doctor waited so long before putting her in the hospital.

He said on his last visit he felt that they (the hospital) had decided

it was to costly for the hospital to continue on.

She's lived in Hawaii for twenty years. She was given a Social Security

number so she could work, pay taxes, and pay into the social security

system. She's in Kaiser Hospital who has come under fire in Southern

Calif. for the lack of care for Medicare patients.

Greg will go along with her wishes. He said it was such a sad day for

not only him but for her elderly parents in Australia. They will not be

able to make the trip to see there daughter for the last time. Although

Greg said it was best that they didn't because she looked so horrible

that he barely recognized her when he entered the room.

Her doctor is working with Greg and telling him pretty much everything.

He is however so disgusted with how America treats people. He has

always felt that if she just went home, Australia would have done

everything to make her well again including the IVIg every month if

need be.

I also don't want her to suffer with this any longer. Apparently the

hospital said they haven't been able to get food into her for almost

three days but Helens friend told Greg it's been longer than three days.

I'm sure they are supplying liquids through the vein but she's also

having that removed as well.

41 years is very young and for Helens sake I just hope and pray that the

Lord brings her home quickly.

Dear Everyone,

I just wanted to say " hi. " I am feeling better--the anti-biotic helped

plus I did stay in bed all last week end. My CPK is still low--90--so

that's good. I am waiting to decrease the Pred. until AFTER our

parent-teacher conferences which are tomorrow night and Friday. All I can

say about the elections is that Florida is in such a snafoo because

wasn't in charge of everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love,

Ann-Marie
