Guest guest
Thanks Topper2. I really didn't think about the pig thyroid process, but that makes sense, and my doctor really doesn't. Of course I knew he wasn't making any sense, and he was just trying to intimidate me, which didn't help matters. I shut down when people get into that mode. I shut down a lot. But I wanted to let you know that I am feeling much better today. My husband called me Martha because I was running around taking care of everything I have wanted to for the last few months, no 8, no, make that a year or two. So maybe the Synthroid is actually working. I hope so. It is really discouraging to read about all the %$^ & *! people have to go through to get treated properly, including your story. I really want to take Armour. I think it would probably have better results that Synthroid. This fall I am going to change my insurance plan so I can go to any doctor I want to. Right now I have an HMO plan and it was like pulling teeth to even be referred to an endo. I am sampling primary physicians right now, and they are as frustrating as endos. I will keep switching until I find a doctor I like, since that is really the most I can do. After changing my insurance plan I intend to go to the Mayo Clinic in ville. I hear the doctors up there actually collaborate and run extensive tests to see how you're doing. I wouldn't ordinarilly pursue that avenue, but I am thyroid impaired and I really want to live a long and healthy life for my son and my husband. I have never felt more emotionally complete before in my life, and I want that to continue. Thanks again for your time. It's so great to have someone to talk to.
