Guest guest
Hi Crystal, Yes, DeFelice told me that the enzymes can cause die-off at first. I'm glad to hear your little guy is improving. Guest guest
Which enzymes is he taking? Some people can't tolerate bromlain and papain. Houstons makes one with out those ingredients. It's called AFP Peptizyde. BUT when I tried to order more yesterday the website said it wouldn't be available until Feb. They are changing to a SCD friendly formula. > > Hi Everyone, > > > > Quick question, My son has been taking kirkmans enzymes for a > few days > > now. He has 1/2 every meal. Guest guest
Crystal - Enzymes can cause a temporary regression. I don't know if this is the same as yeast die off or not but I saw a regression with my son for a couple of weeks after we began using enzymes. There is a " what to expect " section at www.enzymestuff.com. I wish I had known about it when I had started Zachary on enzymes because it would have prepared me for his reaction. On the plus side, he's had formed stools every since we began the enzymes. Zachary 4.3 ASD? SCD 3+ months

Guest guest
I haven't tried any others. I didn't use enzymes before SCD and Thropps was one of the few that was said to be SCD legal.
