Hi Crystal,

Yes, DeFelice told me that the enzymes can cause die-off at

first. I'm glad to hear your little guy is improving.

Which enzymes is he taking? Some people can't tolerate bromlain and

papain. Houstons makes one with out those ingredients. It's called

AFP Peptizyde. BUT when I tried to order more yesterday the website

said it wouldn't be available until Feb. They are changing to a SCD

friendly formula.

Crystal -

Enzymes can cause a temporary regression. I don't know if this is the same

as yeast die off or not but I saw a regression with my son for a couple of

weeks after we began using enzymes. There is a " what to expect " section at

www.enzymestuff.com. I wish I had known about it when I had started Zachary on

enzymes because it would have prepared me for his reaction. On the plus side,

he's had formed stools every since we began the enzymes.
