You'll want the following: TSH Free T4 Free T3 .... not total T4 or Total T3, not reverse T4 or reverse T3... you want the FREEs Thyroid anti-bodies Ferritin AND you want a copy of the results including the lab ranges! Be firm... then post those results here and we'll explain what the numbers mean. If they've been jerking you around it's time to put your foot down. In the mean time.. three questions... While sitting at the computer, what is your pulse rate? assuming that you've been quietly sitting and just reading/typing for about 15 minutes. Just count the number in six seconds and multiply by 10. While sitting at the computer how many breathes do you take in one minute? Count the number of breathes in a full minute. What does your temp usually run? Guest guest Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 Thanks linda i saw my Gp this morning,told him all my symptoms and i am to " fast " from 10pm tonight as i am having bloodtests tomorrow morning.Thyroid/glucose/fbc/and others. he still wants me to go for my foot op!!but i will mention to the Hospital that i am having investigations. For the past year i have had recurring UTI's lived on A/Bs, had all kinds of symptoms and they put it down to Bladder imflammation ( under cystoscopy) found the bladder very red, they thought IC ( interstitial Cystitis) also had bad loin pain so various tests on the kidneys found the right to be functioning slower than the left. At present i am on NO meds apart from antibiotics because this dane infec wont shift!! My symptoms have been weird!! vertigo scarey so bad that i cannot open my eyes and have to lie still for ages!! A twitch in the eye that goes on for weeks at a time. Nausea pain in the troat almost like an ache neck pain feel like i cannot get the next swollow without forceing and feel a sense of panic. A feeling of Panic/stress/depression/crying alot very tired,moody my periods have gone wonky!! all up the wall, from light to heavy and spot for almost 2 weeks prior. NO sex drive whatsoever pains almost everywere tingling in fingers/arms feet numbness cold feet/legs low blood pressure even my veins in hands and feet very prominent.
