Guest guest
Try sneaking in a little veggies in the waffles, just a very little at first and if she eats them well sneak in a little more, she needs some of the good veggies. My dd is perfectly happy to eat the same thing over and over, day in and day out....but I get bored cooking the same thing and think these kids need as much variety as they can handle. eats the sneaky pancakes everday for breakfast but they are different everyday depending on what veggies I have on hand, cooked and ready to go. Guest guest
Sondra, You really need to get some carbs in her diet. Can she drink watered down grape juice? Applesauce? Jody mom to -5.1 and -7.
Guest guest
Jody, She is drinking watered down grape juice (white) but won't touch any form of apples right now and hates the texture of applesauce. Other than the grape juice, what other things are " carbs " that I can sneak in? I'm going to make the same recipe tomorrow but add a small amount of something in. What would you recommend- just any veggie? Thanks, Sondra > Sondra, > > You really need to get some carbs in her diet. > Can she drink watered down grape juice? > Applesauce? > > > Jody > mom to -5.1 and -7.
Guest guest
Sondra, Try the sneaky vegetable pancakes on Pecanbread.com. Also, try the chicken pancakes. You can add veggies to these too. The butternut squash with cinnamon sneaky veggie pancakes are really pretty good. What about cupcakes? There is a recipe for chicken cupcakes that have veggies in them too. How about the peanut butter banana pancakes? Bananas have lots of carbs in them. Jody mom to -5.1 and -7.
