I was chosen for the job I really wanted this week.. after being unemployed for quite some time, I am SO grateful! So my weekend will consist of doing all those chores & errands that will be more difficult when I am working. And having a friend over to celebrate with me... thanks to all of you for your kindness & thyroid help. I still owe (Topper) some replies. Hope you all enjoy your weekends! !! Guest guest
You're friend is more than welcome to drop by, .... knowing what is going on and that it's NOT all in your head is half the battle with thyroid disorders. Once you understand that it's got a face of it's own and you can fight it means a lot, I think... I'm in Minnesota... about a half hour north of Minneapolis. The rain has stopped, but it's still cloudy/gloomy... no thunder boomies anymore.. the cool air feels wonderful - I'm not a heat lover. I'm just starting the third Matrix movie.. I'm having a ball! I'll watch all three again before I have to return them to my friend... He has a few others that he said I could borrow - our taste in movies is pretty similar so I'm looking forward to it. Your job sounds interesting... and it makes a big difference when you like your job and co-workers.... Lucky you!!! I have a friend who is newly diagnosed as Hypo & have been sending her lots of your posts. Perhaps she can join us online now. She is a teacher & school is just over here in NM, so she'll have a bit more time. Thanks again to all, it is so much better to deal with this, knowing I am not alone & not just lazy & /or crazy! We are supposed to have beautiful weather, as we do everyday (tho' a bit windy). Topper, what part of the country are you in? Santa Fe, NM where I live, is close to paradise. Now off to start my chores....
Guest guest
OMG, I used to go that area to the Baptist retreat, when I was a teenager. I went back to Santa Fe on vacation with an ex boyfriend in '98 and had a blast. That is tourist haven. I love all those little shops, and just walking the whole area. I can't remember what that is called. There's also a big cathedral there that I just loved to go in and visit and look around, plus the chocolate goody shops, and a trillion other things there. We went via motorcycle, everywhere we went. Re: OT - Weekend Thanks much & . I'll be the Sales & Marjkrting Support Coordinator for a small technology company. Guest guest
,Your job sounds great! AND-----You are definately not alone..........Neither are you just lazy or crazy,.It breathed new life into me when I was dxed with Thyroid Disease, and not those things!Oh, the self-doubt! That is when I had begun thinking "maybe they are right",that I was indeed lazy and depressed(sure I was depressed--that is one of the symptoms of thyroid disease that I had in spades!)But NO! I (and all you that suffer with thyroid disease)are not lazy, depessed whiners. As to New Mexico being close to Paradise.......... well, my DH(Leon) thinks that Colorado is God's country and I am thinking that here in Central Texas, that there could be nothing better. I love the green lushnness and all the wild birds and wild flowers.I grew up in western Washington, where it rained so much, and that was so green(If you consider 100 inches of rain a year much!)I then lived in dry Las Vegas, which I also enjoyed, but I missed the greenery, I was there for twenty-five years. hugs, Feisty ----- Original Message ----- From: Abernethy Thanks much & .
